Will TFE teams compete in TCSL leagues?

No, TFE teams will compete exclusively in the GA and MLS Next New Tier platforms. Programming for the TFE U12 Pre-MLS Next NT and Pre-GA teams is to be determined.

Why are tryouts outside of the TCSL universal tryout window?

TFE teams will not compete in TCSL next season and are therefore not bound to the universal tryout window. However, our member clubs—Fusion Soccer Club and Tonka United Soccer Association—will continue to participate in TCSL programs. Holding TFE tryouts before our member clubs ensures the best approach for player placement and overall program alignment between the three clubs.

What time will my player's tryouts start and finish?

Tryouts will be 90-minute sessions, with specific age group times announced later this spring. For the U13-U19 ages, the earliest start time will be 8:30 AM, and the latest end time will be 5:00 PM. For U12, the earliest start time will be 8:30 AM and the latest end time will be 12:00 PM.

What if my player cannot attend tryouts?

Players are expected to attend tryouts on both days. If a player cannot attend for any reason, please contact Sinisa Angelovski (s.angelovski@tonkafusionelite.com). Current TFE players who miss tryouts will be evaluated based on their performance throughout the current season. All players must register for tryouts, regardless of attendance, to be considered for a TFE team.

What are the season plans for TFE teams?

Season plans will be announced later this spring. TFE will host a members-only (current TFE/Fusion/Tonka United families) MLS Next New Tier Info Session on Thursday, April 10, from 6:00 PM–7:00 PM at the Fusion Soccer Club/Infiniti training and office space.

TFE will host a members-only (current TFE/Fusion/Tonka United families) MLS Next New Tier Info Session for current TFE players and families on Thursday, April 10, from 6:00–7:00 PM at the Fusion Soccer Club/Infiniti training and office space.

For players not currently in TFE, MLS Next New Tier season plans will be published later this spring.
