We leverage the game to transcend the lives of young people
Continuous Development: Focus | Resilience
In soccer as well as in life, progress is rarely linear. In order to improve, confronting adversity is a must and how we choose to respond to that adversity has a significant impact on our outcomes. In these moments, we will focus on character development, while teaching players to overcome physical, mental, and external barriers in their pursuit of self-improvement.
Personal Leadership: Accountability | Commitment
Allow players to acquire leadership skills and provide an arena to practice personal management & leadership skills. While mistakes are expected to be made during the development process, players must have a clear understanding of personal responsibility. We must all take responsibility for our work and honor our commitments to the greatest extent possible.
Uninhibited competition is an expectation and it is not negotiable. In order to fully develop a competitive drive and improve each day, we will create a high level training environment that is challenging at all times. Games are competitive, so practices must be as well. Even against our teammates, we must operate with a high level of intensity and compete during each session. By doing this, players develop the required self-confidence to both embrace and tackle all obstacles on the field.
Before there can be any success, a conscious decision to be successful must be made and with that decision comes a willingness to work/sacrifice for our teammates. Players will support and lift those around them. It is this selflessness and willingness to sacrifice that will bring team unity; a necessary quality for all successful teams and organizations.
